Work undertaken

SJM removed approximately 3,529 m³ of subgrade material to reshape the oval and installed more than 3 km of slotted Agflex drainage. A new irrigation system with fully automated sprinklers and upgraded pumps was incorporated into the existing pump shed.

New natural turf wickets were constructed on the oval and within the practice nets. A 200 mm imported sand profile was spread and laser graded to precise levels before Santa Ana Couch turf was installed to complete the durable, professional-standard surface.

Key outcomes
  • New natural turf wickets on the oval and in the practice nets
  • Integrated drainage and irrigation for long-term performance
  • Precision earthworks and sand profiling for stable playing conditions
  • Elite Santa Ana Couch playing surface for the community
