3+ kmSlotted Agflex drainage
200 mmImported sand profile
Work undertaken
The works involved extensive earthworks and reshaping of the subgrade to improve drainage performance and establish the required playing surface levels. More than 3 km of slotted Agflex subsoil drainage was installed, together with a fully automated irrigation system and upgraded pumps within the existing pump shed.
A new 10-table-wide natural turf cricket wicket formed part of the redevelopment. The new playing profile was completed with 200 mm of imported sand, laser graded to precise design levels, followed by TifTuf Couch turf for a durable, professional-standard finish.
