Work undertaken
The project commenced with the removal and off-site disposal of approximately 3,100 m³ of existing material. Bulk earthworks then reshaped and redesigned the fairways, greens, tees and bunkers in accordance with the new course design.
A new drainage system was installed for long-term stability and improved surface performance. Specialist sands were imported, graded and prepared before high-quality turf was installed. The works were delivered within a constrained site with limited access and close proximity to Melbourne's CBD.
Key outcomes
- Nine-hole redevelopment delivered under challenging site conditions
- Fairways, greens, tees and bunkers reshaped to the new design
