ABOUT US
Founded In 2007 by Jason Gale and Shane Newman bringing together 35 years of experience in project management, labouring, operating earthmoving equipment and supervising roles for large construction companies. Initially as a team of two they have now grown to include support staff and subcontractors. Initially SJM focussed on undertaking minor Golf Course and sports field projects. In the past 10 years we have become one of the major turf construction industry contractors. Whilst still involved the golf course projects (particularly major projects) the company’s main focus has moved to working on major sports field and horse racing tracks as well as larger civil construction projects.
The team at SJM Turf and Civil are motivated by opportunity, they relish in the opportunity to plan, construct and celebrate the achievement of completed projects.
